Host society of the ASPS Congress April 2025
The Glasgow Thematic Society is hosting this year's ASPS annual Scottish Philatelic Congress. The event is being held on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April 2025 at the Vine Conference Centre in Dunfermline. The event attracts philatelic dealers from across the UK and gives Scottish philatelic societies the opportunity to display their collecting interests. A souvenir cover has been produced and is available to buy.
Maureen Mathieson (Secretary) has been invited this year to give the Tom Reilly Display presentation at the ASPS Congress, on the topic of 'Butterflies'. Friday 4 April, The Vine Conference Centre, Dunfermline.
The Glasgow Thematic Society is a not-for-profit membership organisation for anyone interested in collecting stamps and other philatelic materials on a thematic basis.
NEXT MEETING Monday 7 April 2025, AGM & dinner, & member displays of 8 sheets
Members who have booked to attend the dinner should arrive at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm sitting. The AGM will start at approximately 7.45pm. Following the conclusion of AGM business, members are invited to give a display of up to 8 sheets on a topic of their choosing.
